Connecticut Public Integrity Bureau
A new department established recently to investigate citizen complaints of municipal fraud. This is where people went to report Community Services and Recreation Director Joseph Ierardi's alleged misconduct. It accepts anonymous tips from people who are afraid of being threatened or losing their job if they report government misconduct.
Center for Population Studies
This amazing study (from UCONN (2006)) shows that North Haven residents have much less income when tax returns are studied rather than census information.
Connecticut Attorney General's Office
The Attorney General's office has a consumer advocacy group. The AG is the highest law official in the state.
